Our History

A Little History | Lewis-Clark Memorial Gardens

Mountain View Funeral Home and Crematory was established in the 1970's on the grounds of Lewis-Clark Memorial Gardens by Robert & Renee' Larrabee. The Funeral Home and Cemetery are now owned and operated by their daughter, Lisa, and her husband, Tom Sutherland.

In addition to performing traditional burial services, Mountain View Funeral Home and Crematory has a "state-of-the-art" crematory facility, along with a special Cremation Center, offering an extensive selection of urns and other memorial items.

Lewis-Clark Memorial Gardens was established in the 1950's. There are a variety of gardens available for burial, including the Garden of Honor which features a special monument to our country's veterans.

Our Firm

Mountain View Funeral Home & Crematory is conveniently located on the grounds of Lewis-Clark Memorial Gardens in Lewiston, Idaho. Founded in the 1970's Mountain View Funeral Home & Crematory offers full burial and cremation services. In addition to burial lots in the cemetery, a mausoleum and in-door and out-door columbarium niches are also available on the premises. In addition to our intimate chapel, we also offer a community room with a full kitchen for pre or post service gatherings. The use of our community room is FREE with any service we conduct. Mountain View Funeral Home is owned and operated by the Larrabee-Sutherland family.

CREMATION OPTIONS

OUTDOORS

We do have a special garden for cremation burial- The Garden of Heritage. In addition, we have outdoor cremation niches in the Gardens of Honor and Apostles, and our newest addition, the Meditation Columbarium.

INDOORS

There are both glass front and marble front niches available.

Whatever your choice for final disposition may be, we have several beautiful location options available.
